About the event
We are so excited to partner with Ruth from Frugal Forging Folks, who also serves as a dedicated Missouri Conservation Department Volunteer! Ruth brings a wealth of local knowledge, practical safety tips, real specimens, and a deep passion for sustainable harvesting.
This is an indoor, warm, interactive dive into the vibrant world of late-fall and winter wild abundance! While autumn brings cooler weather, nature offers an incredible bounty—from tree barks and evergreen berries to sap tapping, wild nuts, and seasonal preparations.
Whether you are curious about wild food, eager to learn plant identification in a cozy setting, or excited to sample nature-inspired kitchen creations, this gathering is designed just for you.
